Osteopathic Clinic In New Town

Stuart Davis of New Town Osteopathy uses a traditional, structural approach to help determine an accurate diagnosis and achieve rehabilitation from pain and dysfunction through evidence-based, multi-modal  programmes. These include effective hands-on treatments, posture and lifestyle advice and individualised exercise routines. The clinic is suited to treat patients of 5 years of age or older.

Osteopathy is an holistic therapy and has been around since the mid nineteenth century. Since that time, it has been steadily honed and modernised, taking into account the results of clinical studies, in order to give patients the best possible therapeutic outcome.

New Town Osteopathy in New Town aims to provide patients 5 years of age and older with a thorough understanding of their problem. Issues that are identified relate to an individual's personal history of injury and illness and the peculiarities of their body and their lifestyle habits which are likely to have contributed to their current state of health.

This allows the osteopath to cooperate with each patient to establish a strategy to improve their lifestyle and fitness habits in order to recover from their symptoms and remain fit and healthy into the future. Patients can be reassured that even though Stuart often uses some joint manipulation in his treatments, he is very happy to avoid this if such a preference is expressed.
